Il nuovo libro di Arie van der Stoep, Jan de Ruiter e Wim van Mourik  si intitola Schaken, dammen, molenspel en triktrak. Ondertitel: e può essere considerato uno studio accademico; gli autori giustificano meticolosamente ogni cosa con un lungo elenco di nomi, bibliografie e un vasto apparato iconografico. Il volume segue i due precedenti (nel 2019 hanno scritto sulla dama nell'arte; nel 2021 hanno scritto sul passato e sul presente di questi tavolieri in lingua inglese e olandese).

The new book by Arie van der Stoep, Jan de Ruiter, and Wim van Mourik is titled "Checkers, Checkers, and a Game of Checkers" and can be considered an academic study; the authors meticulously justify each aspect with a long list of names, bibliographies, and numerous illustrations. This volume follows the two previous ones (in 2019, they wrote about checkers in art; in 2021, they wrote about the past and present of these chessboards in English and Dutch).

The book is hardback, 424 pages, 534 color illustrations (some black and white), 20 tables, and 4 graphs.
